Due to the advantages of lithium-ion batteries, these batteries are the most common system of energy storage in electric vehicles. One of the most important levels in the development of these vehicles is the design and manufacture of lithium-ion battery cells, which has been the main reason for the lack of acceptable progress of these vehicles in Iran. According to our country's need for self-sufficiency in the field of lithium-ion battery cells for electric vehicles, Institute of Mechanics, with the investment of DadeGostar Asr Novin Co., designed and manufactured the first battery cell in Iran.
