AMBULANCE AVIATION

A patient should receive the most vital help during the first hour after the accident. Ambulance aviation is the best way for that. EMS helicopters allow for reducing RTA mortality rate by half, severity of consequences by 3 times, mortality in acute cases by 10 times.

AMBULANCE MODIFICATION OF ANSAT HELICOPTER

The new Russian helicopter ANSAT is intended to perform the primary tasks of ambulance aviation.

Spacious and functional cabin, featuring a low level of noise and vibrations, allows transporting patients and paramedics.

Due to its performance characteristics, ANSAT helicopter is capable to perform urgent missions in adverse conditions.

Advantages of ANSAT helicopter:

  • – easy access to cabin and patient handling

The ambulance modification of ANSAT helicopter includes specialized equipment, removable stretchers and seats for medical personnel.

Wide space around the medical module allows the paramedics to conveniently perform intubation, carry out continuous CPR and health monitoring of the patient during the flight.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE DURING THE FLIGHT

On board ANSAT helicopter, medical personnel can:

  • – provide first aid and emergency medical care for injured people at the scene of the accident
  • – prepare the patient for further transportation
  • – perform resuscitation, intensive care and monitoring of primary vital body functions of the injured person during transportation

Functional and ergonomic medical module of Ka-226T is equipped with up-to-date intensive care unit. The helicopter is equipped with Shockabsorbing seats for crew and passengers. The wide sliding door allows easy boarding. Baggage compartment is provided for baggage transportation.

Elegant design and functional interior of the enhanced comfort cabin with soft seats, tables, small drawers for personal belongings, TV/DVD will make the flight pleasant and comfortable.

PASSENGER

Mi-17 helicopter sports a spacious and comfortable passenger cabin. Twin-engine power plant, proven design and up-to-date equipment ensure rotorcraft operational safety. High-end finishing materials, additional heat- and sound insulation, air-conditioning system enhance the comfort of accommodating up to 26 passengers. VIP version of Mi-17 boasts luxurious interior custom-tailored for up to 12 executive passengers. VIP helicopters are used by many heads of states worldwide.

Helicopters fitted with medical equipment are employed to transport critically ill or injured persons. «Flying hospital» modification allows performance of a wide range of medical procedures, even surgery, on board of the helicopter and ensures transportation of up to 12 patients on stretchers. Optimized configuration, system’s reliability, high power-to-weight ratio and survivability assure its maximum efficiency at performing special operations. Mi-17 has unique search and rescue capabilities due to special equipment fitted on helicopter.

MEDEVAC

UNIVERSAL TRANSPORT

Mi-17 helicopter is efficiently used for cargo transportation. Its spacious cargo compartment of 23 m3 is fitted with portside and starboard sliding doors and rear ramp, which significantly facilitate loading and unloading procedures. The helicopter can accommodate up to 36 people in troop seats/ lengthy cargo/ vehicles. Loading capacity of the helicopter is 4 tons. Using external sling makes it possible to deliver up to 4 tons of bulky cargo to hard-to-reach destinations, to carry out assembling works. The helicopter can be equipped with water drop system for fire-fighting operations.

UTILITY HELICOPTER

Mi-38

Mi-38 is a new generation medium size utility helicopter, designed in accordance with AP-29 aviation rules (harmonized with CS-29/FAR-29). The helicopter was developed combining the best achievements, innovation technologies and long experience of Mi-type helicopters operation. Modern avionics, radio communication equipment, crashresistant fuel system and energy absorbing structural elements ensure secure round-the-clock all-weather operation in a wide range of ambient temperatures from -50 to +50° C.

DESIGN AND SYSTEMS

High-performance power plant, modern main rotor system and up-to-date
avionics allow the Mi-38 to surpass similar medium class helicopters in performance
and operating characteristics. The helicopter is equipped with Russian TV7-117V
engines fitted with FADEC.
Aluminum alloys, steel, titanium and composite materials are used in the
helicopter construction. The advanced design of the six-blade main rotor provides
high thrust and reduces vibration. The X-shaped tail rotor allows increasing the
controllability while reducing the noise level.

CARGO TRANSPORT

The transport version of Mi-38 helicopter is designed for cargo transportation inside the cargo cabin and on the external sling. Cargo cabin dimensions allow transporting oversize loads of up to 6 tons. Wide sliding door and rear cargo door provide easy loading and unloading.

External sling fitted with load stabilization system has a capacity of up to 7 tons. The helicopter fitted with external load sling system can be used for large-scale construction works and fire-fighting operations involving water discharge devices.

SEARCH, RESCUE AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

The helicopter in SAR version is intended for use in emergency situations requiring a fast response while rescuing people and mitigating accident consequences, including in difficult to reach areas.

The helicopter provides transportation of rescuers and special equipment, search and evacuation of victims, rendering medical assistance on board the helicopter.

MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION

The helicopter design allows carrying out maintenance and repair with minimum labor input achieved by the accessibility to the helicopter’s assemblies and ability of their fast dismantling and replacement.

Low specific fuel consumption and long service life of the
components provide significant reduction in operating costs.

PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION

The passenger version of Mi-38 comfortably accommodates up to 30 passengers on energy-absorbing seats providing high level of safety. Spacious passenger cabin, air conditioning and heating system, low noise and vibration levels make the helicopter journey as comfortable as possible.

VIP version layout and cabin interior are tailored to the specific needs of each client.

The cabin can accommodate up to 12 seats of enhanced comfort.

Fuselage configuration, number and dimensions of emergency exits, shock-absorbing landing gear and seats, crashresistant fuel system, triple redundancy of the hydraulic part of the helicopter control system and 30-minute run-dry capability of the gearbox meet the most stringent requirements of the international aviation safety standards. The helicopter has a sufficient power margin to continue takeoff and landing with OEI.

Removable modular emergency ditching system allows to perform emergency water landing and carry out safe evacuation of people.
